I like the anime if you look at it as a different story, but it is not nearly as good as the book.  IMHO.  

Anyone else?

When I finish my book, I'm considering calling it a "graphical novel" instead, which I think conveys the idea that it's a novel told in images.

Amya is a high-fantasy graphic novel. The story follows the adventures of a mute spell-touched and her unlikely companions as they are pulled into an adventure that is greater than any of them could have anticipated; or ever expect to fulfill. What is Willow's Grove?  It is a comic created, written, drawn, heck, let's just get down to brass tacks...it is the love child produced by Karl Kleese and it has been around since before dirt was invented.  Small town life is never what you expect it to be, with things that go bump in the night, it is the most haunted community in the United States.  Willow's Grove has been around for so long, it has actually outgrown its original premise and now encompasses all things: comedy, drama, adventure, sci-fi, space battles, pop culture, you name it, we've got it.

Established: 1990 (under its present title, originally called Uncle Cho's Bar & Grill which was created as a comic package that was sent to all the major syndicates in the late 1980's (and proudly rejected by every single major syndicate))

The web release is updated every Monday, with one or more pages per update.

eBook version of the entire comic (172 pages) is available for purchase in various formats (Kindle, ePub, etc.), though I recommend the PDF version. You can also buy a slightly larger PDF version from me. A standard print book version should be available soon in late February or March. If you plan to attend either the Small Press Expo or InterventionCon in Rockville (Maryland), you may find me wandering around, perhaps with a few copies to sell. :)

Who are you dressed up as?

We do a comic called Dressed For Success. It's the story of two guys who become friends by chance while both on the run from the intergalactic mob. 

We started back in the 90's small press movement and did 25 issues of a black and white mini-comic. We've brought them back now with a new adventure set after the original run. The new story, Mississauga Jay and the Lost Shrine of the Osars, finds Alex Corbett and Walter Andrewkowski working as couriers. They deliver a package to an archaeological dig and become embroiled in an Indiana Jones type adventure. 

DFS is a light hearted sci-fi comic that explores friendship during adversity as well as poking fun at pop culture and society along the way.
